Is your honey raw and unprocessed?
Yes — all our honey is 100% raw, unfiltered, and never heat-treated. It’s extracted in small batches and bottled with care, just as the bees made it.
What’s the difference between the 5kg bucket and the Hoerikwaggo Honey bottles?
Both products contain the same premium wildflower honey. The 5kg bucket is perfect for bulk use, families, or resale. The 6 x 500g Hoerikwaggo Honey bottles come beautifully packaged, making them ideal for gifting or retail.
Where is your honey harvested?
Our honey is harvested from healthy, free-foraging bees across the Western Cape, including fynbos-rich and wildflower areas like Cape Town’s surrounds, Elgin, and Ceres.
Does raw honey expire?
Raw honey does not expire. It’s naturally antimicrobial and will last indefinitely when stored in a cool, dry place. If it crystallises, simply warm it gently to return it to a liquid state.
Is your honey organic?
While we practice sustainable and chemical-free beekeeping, we are not certified organic due to the wide foraging range of bees in the wild. However, our honey is unprocessed and additive-free.
